Students who wish to withdraw from a course must complete all steps indicated on the Academic Withdrawal Request form by the course withdrawal deadline.
NOTE: Students who are attending Texas institutions of higher education, for the first time fall 2007 and later, may not withdraw from more than six courses during their academic career. In order to be successful in this class, students are expected to log in and participate at least three times a week. Students are expected to participate in the weekly discussion boards. Instructors can see when the last date of log in occurs.
WITHDRAWAL POLICY:
It is the responsibility of the student to initiate drop or withdrawal procedures through the Instructor of the course. This request must be done via phone or office visit.
It is a minimum of a two-day process, plan accordingly. Students who stop attending class but do not officially drop or withdraw from this course will receive a letter grade at the end of the semester.
A student wanting to drop a class must set up an office visit or make a phone call with the instructor in order to drop the class.Last day to withdraw (drop) - December 6th, 2016
EXAMINATIONS:
Use reliable internet sources. Firefox works the best.
If an online exam stops mid-way, switch to another online source to complete the timed exam. If the time runs out on the exam, contact the instructor. The instructor will access the exam tracking system, only if the test is lost can the exam be retaken.
NO make-up exams are allowed except for extenuating circumstances.
