Students who wish to withdraw from a course must complete all steps indicated on the Academic Withdrawal Request form by the course withdrawal deadline.

Students enrolled in an educational program in preparation for obtaining certain occupational licenses are potentially ineligible for such license if the student has been convicted of an offense. Students are responsible for reading and understanding the policy prior to the first class day. It is available online within the AC ADN Program site.
Please do not bring electronic devics to the clinical areas unless approved by the Clinical Faculty. Cell phones and other devices are not permitted in the patient care areas as per the facility policies.

The following criteria and grading scale will be used to determine the clinical grade. Grades are NOT rounded in accordance with the Nursing Department Grading policy: Ex 69.9 = 69.9 D; 89.9 = 89.9 B etc
1. Clinical Performance Score – 100%
A = 90-100
B = 80-89
C = 75-79
D = 60-74
F = below 60.

2. In order to meet clinical competencies, all clinical absences must be made up
in the clinical area.

*All documentation for CPR and immunizations should be updated and complete by the first class day if they are expired. Please bring documentation forms/CPR cards on first class day.
*Clinical days: Students will be assigned to a Thurs/Fri 9-hr rotation for 3 weeks. Please make plans accordingly. Clinical assignments are made and posted AFTER class starts and is done at the discretion of the Clinical Instructor of Record.
*The Clinical Experience will also include Clinical Simulation times which will be announced by instructor and placed on the Course Calendar. Clinical Simulation is required as part of the completion of the course.
