Student Withdrawal Procedures

Students who wish to withdraw from a course must complete all steps indicated on the Academic Withdrawal Request form by the course withdrawal deadline.

NOTE: Students who are attending Texas institutions of higher education, for the first time fall 2007 and later, may not withdraw from more than six courses during their academic career. This withdrawal limitation does not include dual credit or developmental classes (Senate Bill 1231 Rule 4.10.) INMT-1305-LC2 Introduction to Industrial Maintenance

Prerequisites

<p>Prerequisite: ETWR 1302 and MCHN 1343 - minimum grade of C</p>

Course Description

Basic mechanical skills and repair techniques common to most fields of industrial maintenance. Topics include precision measuring instruments and general safety rules common in industry, including lock-out/tag-out. Practice of basic layout and piece part measurement while using standard measuring tools is also emphasized.

Additional Information:

Late assignments will be scored accordingly and will not exceed 50% of the designated grade.  Project work (hands on) may be made up during regular lab times but will be scored accordingly and will not exceed 50% of the designated grade.  There is no make-up of class exercises or lectures.
