Students who do not attend class on or prior to the census date will be administratively dropped. Effective Fall, 2016
Students who wish to withdraw from a course must complete all steps indicated on the Academic Withdrawal Request form by the course withdrawal deadline.
NOTE: Students who are attending Texas institutions of higher education, for the first time fall 2007 and later, may not withdraw from more than six courses during their academic career. This withdrawal limitation does not include dual credit or developmental classes (Senate Bill 1231 Rule 4.10.) Students enrolled in an educational program in preparation for obtaining certain occupational licenses are potentially ineligible for such license if the student has been convicted of an offense. For further information, please contact your advisor, the Legal Clinic, or the faculty member in charge of the educational program that you seek to enroll in. The further information you will receive will include notification to you of your right to request a criminal history evaluation letter from the licensing authority in order to clarify your particular situation.

Inappropriate Language will not be tolerated. The student will be asked to leave class, and no credit will be given for anything that is missed.
Students are responsible for e-mail messages sent to AC’s e-mail account. E-mails should be professional and contain proper spelling, grammar, and format. This is the way I will contact you, if necessary, and the way you should contact me.

Homework:
Students should complete all homework on time in pencil. All problems should be completely worked out. If answers are correct, but no work is shown to arrive at that answer, the problem will be counted wrong. Work that is illegible will not be graded and will receive no credit. Homework will be due at the beginning of each class period. After homework is collected anything turned in after that will be late and will receive a maximum score of 70. No homework will be accepted late after the beginning of the next class period for which the homework was originally due.
Exams:
A maximum of four regular exams will be given throughout the course. If you miss a regular exam, the final exam may replace that exam. The Final Exam may only replace one regular exam. If you miss more than one regular exam, they will be counted as a zero. All exams will be in class.
The Final Exam will be on Wednesday, March 7, 2018.
No make-up Exams will be given.
Teach Me:
You will be expected to present a five to ten minute explanation about how to do something. The topic is your choice so long as it is school appropriate and a legal activity. You will sign up for the teach me the first or second class.
Attendance is a requirement. If a student misses class, it is his/her responsibility to get notes from a classmate and have homework assignment ready for next class meeting.
