The Tutoring for Success policy applies to any student whose grade or performance in the course falls below a departmentally determined minimum threshold. In either of those cases, the instructor will direct the student to the appropriate tutoring service, which may be faculty-led, discipline-specific, and/or general. Under this policy, the instructor will follow specific departmental guidelines governing the use, duration, and grade component of the tutoring need.

Students who wish to withdraw from a course must complete all steps indicated on the Academic Withdrawal Request form by the course withdrawal deadline.
NOTE: Students who are attending Texas institutions of higher education, for the first time fall 2007 and later, may not withdraw from more than six courses during their academic career. This is a hybrid class and weekly completion of all discussion forums and chapter quizzes are expected to be completed on time, on line, each week.

Read assigned chapters, view the chapter power point presentations, and participate in discussion forums every week.
Complete weekly learning activities and exams over course content.
Attend the scheduled in-class meetings as indicated in the schedule and actively participate in discussions.
Keep in mind that grades are not given. Grades are earned based on student performance. Please note the requirements for earning the grade you desire and act accordingly throughout the semester. If you complete the coursework in a timely fashion, there isn’t a reason for you not to successfully complete this course.
Assignments and exams are due on the dates stated.
Late work and make-up assignments/exams are up to the instructor’s discretion. Most likely after a module closes, late work and make-up work will not be accepted.
Should you need to drop the course, the last date to do so is November 26, 2019 and you have to ask the instructor for permission to drop by email with explanation for request before that date!
