The Tutoring for Success policy applies to any student whose grade or performance in the course falls below a departmentally determined minimum threshold. In either of those cases, the instructor will direct the student to the appropriate tutoring service, which may be faculty-led, discipline-specific, and/or general. Under this policy, the instructor will follow specific departmental guidelines governing the use, duration, and grade component of the tutoring need.

Students who wish to withdraw from a course must complete all steps indicated on the Academic Withdrawal Request form by the course withdrawal deadline.

3. Learn what categories of ASE tests are available for Automotive and Diesel Technicians to take.

5. Download to personal electronic device any and all free ASE test study/prep guides.
6. Sign up for and take the student versions of the ASE tests, if available and affordable.
7. Learn and use good study skills to prepare for any and all test taking (discover test anxiety and how to manage it).

Late work will be accepted with a deduction of 30 points no later than three days after due date.
You are expected to attend all class meetings on time and stay for the whole class. Points will be deducted from your attendance and participation for not complying.

Some information presented may be manufacturer specific.
You MUST get your Instructor's permission to bring a vehicle into the shop. If you do not, you WILL be asked to leave the shop.
Vehicles are not to remain "overnight". Any work performed MUST be completed by the end of class. Verify you have ALL parts and supplies needed to complete any maintenance or repair. If unsure, ask your instructor prior to work being started.
All vehicles brought into the shop MUST have a repair order filled out and placed on the windshield.
Honk your horn prior to entering and leaving the shop.
Have a window down and keys outside of the vehicle to prevent being locked out.
