The Tutoring for Success policy applies to any student whose grade or performance in the course falls below a departmentally determined minimum threshold. In either of those cases, the instructor will direct the student to the appropriate tutoring service, which may be faculty-led, discipline-specific, and/or general. Under this policy, the instructor will follow specific departmental guidelines governing the use, duration, and grade component of the tutoring need.
Students who do not attend class on or prior to the census date will be administratively dropped. Effective Fall, 2016
Students who wish to withdraw from a course must complete all steps indicated on the Academic Withdrawal Request form by the course withdrawal deadline.
NOTE: Students who are attending Texas institutions of higher education, for the first time fall 2007 and later, may not withdraw from more than six courses during their academic career. This withdrawal limitation does not include dual credit or developmental classes (Senate Bill 1231 Rule 4.10.) Attendance = 25% (one hour = 17 points approx. 6 hours = 100 points *102 points)
Lab Task Sheets = 25%

Final Exam = 25%
Attendance will be taken and you will receive a grade reflecting your time in class and in the lab.
Attendance will be calculated in quarters of an hour. AUMT 2317 is a 6 hour long class which equals to roughly 17 points for each hour or 4.25 points for every 15 min you are here. There will be a station for you to clock in and out. Clock in as soon as you enter the room and clock out once you leave for the day. The time clock will be your responsibility. If you forget to clock out, I will give you a ZERO for the day since I will not know when you have left. When you do leave for the day, please let me know in case there is an emergency on campus and I have to have a head count.
The first 30 minutes of class will be designated for self-study

You can use a vehicle in the lab or your personal vehicle to research the information on, but WRITE THE VEHICLE INFORMATION DOWN.
