Tutoring for Success applies to any student whose overall performance in the course falls below 75%. The instructor will create the task in the Student Engagement Portal (Watermark) to direct the student to the appropriate tutoring service, which may be faculty- or SI-led, discipline-specific, and/or general. The tutoring service assigned, the due date for when the tutoring must be completed, and the amount of tutoring required are at the discretion of the instructor. Additionally, the task will alert the student’s success team. Students who do not fulfill the assigned tutoring task may be subject to program- and course-specific penalties that could result in a grade reduction and/or in not being allowed to progress in the course until the tutoring requirement has been satisfied.
Students who do not attend class on or prior to the census date will be administratively dropped. Effective Fall, 2016
Students who wish to withdraw from a course must complete all steps indicated on the Academic Withdrawal Request form by the course withdrawal deadline.
NOTE: Students who are attending Texas institutions of higher education, for the first time fall 2007 and later, may not withdraw from more than six courses during their academic career. This withdrawal limitation does not include dual credit or developmental classes (Senate Bill 1231 Rule 4.10.) Access to Microsoft Word and AutoCAD 2019 or later. (AC provides these programs on campus for students.)
AutoCAD can be downloaded from the Autodesk website. Your home computer must meet the minimum requirements.

Student Conduct and Responsibilities
Students are expected to maintain a high standard of individual honor in their scholastic work. Students who are guilty of cheating, plagiarism, copying, or dishonesty may receive a 0 on an assignment; may be excluded from class with a grade of F; or, in flagrant cases, may be suspended from the College.
It is the responsibility of the student to initiate drop or withdrawal procedures. See your instructor first if you wish to initiate these procedures. Students who stop attending class but do not officially drop or withdraw from this course will receive a letter grade at the end of the semester.

Any student who, because of a disabling condition, may require some special arrangements in order to meet course requirements should contact the Student Service Center, phone 371-5436 as soon as possible.
Students will be given assignments that include both written and drawing tasks, exams, and a course project. Students will also be graded on attendance.
Written assignments are to be typed and printed using Microsoft Word.
Drawing Assignments are to be drawn and printed using the Standard, LT, or Student version of
AutoCAD 2019 or later. (2019, 2020, 2021, etc...)
Assignments are due one week from the date assigned. Late assignments will be lowered ten points. No assignments will be accepted after two weeks from date assigned.
Grading Scale
Written Assignments 15% of course grade.
Drawing Assignments 25% of course grade.
Exams 30% of course grade.
Course Project 30% of course grade.
