Conduct

The main thing to remember is to respect each other.
Cell phones are to be silenced during class. Texting, gaming, taking non-emergency calls, and etc is not permitted. No cell phone usage is allowed in labs. Students who choose not to follow this rule will have the option of surrendering their phone to me for the class or leaving the class for the day.

During class lecture I encourage open discussion; however, when a student asks a direct question to me, I need everyone else to be quite and let me respond. After I have answered the question, anyone wanting to add to or question the answer is welcome to jump in. This is fair to all students and will prevent confusion as to what is the proper answer.
Please be considerate of other classes going on in the building and keep your voices down when you are in the hallways during break.
Anyone that causes a disruption will be asked to leave the class.
Bring text book and tools to class every session.
Infractions of any of the above will result in grade reduction for the day and/or disciplinary action.
