Department Spotlight | Badger Central
Badger Central has expanded greatly over the last few years to include more than just the college’s bookstore. We are happy to introduce the new and returning students, faculty, and staff to the wide range of products and services that are now under the Badger Central umbrella.
Badger Central Bookstore
The reliable bookstore that students and staff have come to know, supplying the college with textbooks, school supplies, laptops for rent and purchase, electronics, and college apparel has expanded its offerings to include a large selection of board games and tabletop gaming accessories. With a wide variety of games, including board games, party games, kid-friendly titles, card games, and demo games that are available to play in the café, there is something for every interest level. The bookstore has a generous offering of Warhammer sets, paints of all colors, expert advice, and Dungeons & Dragons books that would keep even the most avid adventurer immersed for a lifetime. The bookstore is excited to announce that it will be hosting regular community events in the cafe, starting September 15th, with a Dungeons & Dragons game that will take place from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm. The event is open to all who wish to attend. Learn more about the tabletop role-playing community in general, and the game Dungeons & Dragons specifically.
Badger Central Café
Serving up your favorite drinks, sandwiches, and salads, Badger Central Café is dedicated to providing good food at an affordable price for both the students and staff of Amarillo College. With a seasonal breakfast and lunch menu, the café is happy to serve students and staff from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. The café is also excited to announce a rotating drink special menu that highlights new flavor combinations and follows a new theme every month.
Badger Central Express
Along with the Café and Bookstore, the Mailroom also received an update with some new and exciting changes. Starting this fall semester, Badger Central Express is excited to announce that in-store pickup will be available for online orders.
Badger Central Re-boot Center
Formerly known as the Computer Service Center, the Re-boot Center is a place where students, staff, and the community can get honest, affordable computer repairs done.
