Department Spotlight | AC Testing Center
The AC Testing Center is a unit of the Amarillo College Student Affairs Division. The Testing Center supports instruction, academic planning, and the community by providing various testing services for prospective students, current students, and members of the community while adhering to the NCTA Professional Standards and Guidelines.
You may not know that the AC Testing Center is one of the only centers to provide water certifications for all of the city water workers in the top of Texas through the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality and fire certifications for all of the area firefighters through the Texas Commission of Fire Protection. We offer accommodated and make-up testing for AC students, as well as some end-of-course certification exams, TSI testing for college entrance, GED, and certifications for water, fire, insurance, teachers, and many others. We strive to make testing as stress-free as possible.
