Massage Therapy

massage table 96dpiAs a massage therapist, you can find careers in health care, sports medicine or fitness and stress management. It is incredibly rewarding to offer patients immediate relief from pain associated with stress, injury and illness as well as promote general wellness.

Massage Therapists enjoy flexible work schedules in a client-focused practice that promotes good health and well-being.

At Amarilllo College, the convenience of evening-only classes provide students an opportunity to complete the 2-semester program while continuing to work or take care of a family.

Prior to registration, the applicant must complete a student background check online at Precheck. The results take 3-10 business days to process and are sent directly to our office. The cost is $53.58.

MSSG-1011: Massage Therapy Fundamentals 1 – 128 hrs.
MSSG-1013: Massage Anatomy and Physiology – 80 hrs.
MSSG-2014: Massage Pathology – 40 hrs.
MSSG-1009: Massage Health and Hygiene – 20 hrs.

MSSG-2011: Fundamentals of Massage 2: Specialized Techniques – 75 hrs.
MSSG-2013: Massage Kinesiology – 50 hrs.
