Learn more about Career & Employment Services
Career and Employment Services serves Amarillo College Staff and Faculty, local employers, and most of all, our students. We strive to help students obtain and retain employment from the very beginning of their career through their career progress. For us to achieve our mission, we offer multiple services for the college.
Students
- College Central Network: this is our job board that hosts internship opportunities, active job listings, and can connect students with employers in and out of the panhandle area.
- Job Search, Internship and Mentoring Assistance: If you are looking for any kind of mentorship, internship or a job we can get you connected with an employer to discuss opportunities. We can help you craft informational interview questions or even get you connected to apply for the Adams Earn & Learn program.
- Resume and Cover Letter Reviews: Should you need a resume or other document edited to apply for a job or experience, we can help with that! Also, if you are looking to be employed as a student worker you will need that resume to apply through College Central Network.
- Career Guidance: Unsure of where you want to go? Or what to do next? We offer career guidance, assessment interpretation and can help you get set up to see the job first hand to help you solidify your career interests.
- Job Fairs: Each semester we offer numerous job fairs, and these companies can offer jobs, internships, or other opportunities. This is your chance to meet employers right on your campus. Check out our Spring 2022 Job Fairs here: https://www.actx.edu/career/job-fairs
