The goal of this 3-hour workshop is to give you practical ways to help you deal with the potential (but very real) outcomes related to COVID-19 that scare us the most: a loved one getting infected, loss of a job or financial resources, or a friend or loved one dying from the virus. Using principles of Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Dr. Kee's main focus is to help participants deal with adversity on the more severe end of the spectrum. His hope is that after learning how to apply REBT to the more serious scenarios related to the pandemic, you can effectively apply this model to less severe (but highly frustrating) aspects of living through a pandemic, such as having to live in quarantine and social distancing.
Professional Development credit is available through CTL to all full-time faculty in attendance of this workshop.
