WT Admissions and Advising representatives will be on campus to assist and answer any questions you may have about the Destination WT program. Students who meet the requirements for the program will have the opportunity to apply for Destination WT, and current students who have already applied for Destination WT will have the chance to ask questions. A brief presentation about the program will be held in Room 214 in Byrd at 10:00, 11:30 and 1:00, and those in attendance have the chance to win fun WT prizes!
Wednesday, April 13, 2016 the Student Government Association will be hosting INK for a noon poetry slam in the College Union Building. Free lunch will be provided.
Amarillo College and the Panhandle Regional Planning Commission will present a day-long conference at the Amarillo Civic Center, Grand Plaza, focusing on child sex trafficking and online risks. The conference is from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at a cost of $25, lunch included. Amarillo Master Chorale will join forces with the WTAMU choirs and orchestra to present Brahms’ Requiem this weekend, conducted by Dr. Sean Pullen. Tickets can be obtained through WT at 651-2840 at special low price of only $5. Performances are Saturday evening, 8 pm and Sunday afternoon, 2:30 pm at Mary Moody Northen Hall on the WT campus.
