To be legally binding upon the College, an agreement for contract instruction must be made in writing and specifically state the terms of all elements. Training contract approval authorizations are:
Contracts $25,000 and over - Authorization of the Board is required prior to executing the contract agreement. In cases of urgency, the College President may authorize the contract with notice and approval of three Board members.
Over $10,000 but less than $25,000 - Authorization of the College President is required prior to executing the contract agreement. The Board shall be notified of the contract by report of the College President at the next scheduled Board meeting.
$10,000 and less - Authorization of the appropriate President’s Cabinet member is required prior to executing the contract agreement. The College President shall be notified of the contract by the appropriate President’s Cabinet member.
