AC’s Innovation Outpost to Offer Cyber Challenge 2025

The Amarillo College Cyber Challenge 2025 is a one-day cyber security challenge set for Friday, April 25 at AC’s Innovation Outpost at 1220 S. Polk Street in Amarillo. 

The competition is hosted on the CyberQ platform and features team and solo Capture the Flag challenges suited for high school, college, and early career IT professionals. 

“The competition is designed to cultivate regional cybersecurity awareness and expertise through hands-on digital challenges with a fun and gamified learning environment,” said Argenis Cunha, cybersecurity learning and technology specialist. “The skills and topics covered in this challenge are relevant for keeping IT professionals current.”

The day will include a guided team challenge; an intermediate individual challenge; and an award ceremony and networking hour. 

The event will also include a screening and discussion about the documentary “The Thinking Game” at 11:45 a.m. Participants can choose to attend one or more of all the day’s events.
