AC’s Suzuki Program to Present Concert Nov. 16

The Amarillo College (AC) Suzuki Program invites the community to a vibrant afternoon of music at its upcoming Suzuki Program Orchestras & Ensembles Concert, set for 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 16 at AC’s Concert Hall Theatre. 

The performance will showcase talented student musicians from across the AC Suzuki Program, highlighting the growth, discipline, and musical artistry nurtured through the renowned Suzuki teaching method. Families, friends, and supporters of the arts are encouraged to attend and enjoy a wide-ranging program performed by young orchestral and ensemble players.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for parents who may be considering music study for their children to get to know more about our program,” said Camille Day Nies, coordinator of the AC Suzuki Program and AC chair of music and theatre and professor of music. “Folks are encouraged to bring the entire family to this kid-friendly event.”

The concert is free and open to the public.
