CHILLER PLANT

The Chiller Plant located on the Washington Street Campus required additional cooling capacity to provide for the growth of Amarillo College. The current system has reached capacity with the existing buildings and additional cooling capacity is required for the new Science Laboratory Building currently under construction. This project is scheduled for substantial completion by March 1, 2009, at cost of $886,513.00.

 A new chiller/cooling tower was delivered to Parcells Hall on the Washington Street Campus.

A new chiller was lowered into the basement of Parcells Hall. The additional cooling capacity will be used to provide cooling to the new Science Laboratory building.
