The Computer Information Systems Program offers certificates and degrees in popular IT tracks. We have all Certificates stacked into either our Computer Information Systems Associate of Applied Science degree or our Computer Networking/Cybersecurity Associate of Applied Science degree.
CIS - Computer Information Systems (A.A.S.)
CIS - Software Development Option
The CIS – Computer Information Systems Associate of Applied Science (AAS) – Software Development Major Option prepares students for entry-level to intermediate positions in the development of software and web-based applications. Students who complete the Software Development major option coursework will earn these Certificates along the way:

CIS - Game Design Option
The CIS – Computer Information Systems Associate of Applied Science (AAS) – Game Design Major Option prepares students for entry-level to intermediate positions in interactive digital media, including skills in design, development, and production of interactive games. Students who complete the Game Design coursework will earn these Certificates along the way:

CIS - Information Technology Generalist Option
The CIS – Computer Information Systems Associate of Applied Science (AAS) – IT Generalist Major Option prepares students for entry-level to intermediate positions in computing and technology support. Courses utilize hands-on labs and prepare students to take the following certification exams: CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, and CompTIA Security+. Students who complete the IT Generalist coursework will earn these Certificates along the way:

The CIS – Computer Networking/Cybersecurity Associate of Applied Science (AAS) – prepares students with a foundation in the principles and practices of information security, network design, digital forensic investigations, cloud computing, computer hardware/software troubleshooting, and server management. This program’s curriculum aligns with industry-recognized certifications and is ideal for students seeking careers in cybersecurity, network maintenance, and information technology. Students who complete the Networking/Cybersecurity AAS will earn these Certificates along the way:
