Welcome to Community Link North Campus
Community Link is the New Home of Perkins Excellence/CCAMPIS.
We have a place for AC student parents to study or hang out while kids play. As well as a computer lab if you don't have one of your own.
We are here Monday through Friday and anyone is welcome.
What is CCAMPIS?
CCAMPIS stands for Child Care Access Means Parents in School. The CCAMPIS Program is administered by the U.S. Department of Education. The goal of CCAMPIS is to increase access to post-secondary education for low-income parents by providing quality, affordable and accessible childcare scholarships, while student-parents further their education at Amarillo College.
Eligibility
To qualify for the CCAMPIS Program
- Student must be receiving a PELL Grant or be PELL Grant eligible based on the FAFSA Application. A FAFSA must be completed and on file with the Amarillo College Financial Aid Office.
- Student must be enrolled full time at AC. Consideration is given for 2nd year part-time students.
- Child care services are available at the Hagy Center, Amarillo College Child Development Lab School.
