General Sessions
General Sessions are held throughout the year. General Sessions include important information on key resources and strategies for success, plus a campus tour.
As a new student, you are encouraged to attend an orientation that best matches the campus you will be attending in your first year. Your Academic Advisor can provide more information on these specific sessions.

Family Friendly Orientation
While our general sessions are accommodating as needed, Amarillo College does offer a specific orientation designed to allow for guests and children to attend with the student. The sessions are mainly held in an auditorium setting, where one may easily step out of needed. We also offer an opportunity for children to hang out in our FirstBank Southwest Gym with licensed supervision during specific orientation sessions.
