What is a Success Coach?

Amarillo College has Success Coaches whose primary goal is to connect with students on an individual basis and provide direct support during a student's time at Amarillo College. Coaches will reach out at the beginning of each semester as a way to establish communication with you, then will continue communication, as needed, in efforts to support you during your challenges and accomplishments of college and life. You are encouraged to reach out to your success coach when you have questions, need guidance through a process or situation, or support you with resource information or referrals.

Success Coaches are assigned by AC communities. You can find your success coach and their information by following the steps below:

1. Log into your AC Connect account
2. Under the heading "My Apps", click on Student Engagement Portal.
3. On your main page on the Student Engagement Portal, you will see your Success Coach listed, as well as your Academic Advisor.
