The Graphic Design program provides instruction and hands-on training in various design communication areas and offers three tracks for those interested in computer art – Print, Animation, and Web. The program offers courses to prepare individuals for entry-level employment in graphic design, and our A.A.S degree program offers transferable classes for those wishing to seek a baccalaureate degree at a four-year school. AC also offers a certificate program.

What can you do with a Graphic Design degree or certificate?

Graphic designers are visual communicators who use computer software to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate consumers. They develop the overall layout and production design for various applications such as advertisements, brochures, magazines, and corporate reports. Career options are many and range from art director and logo designer to content developer and visual journalist.
