TEAS Entrance Exam

NOTE: You must complete the Health Sciences Application Process Video and Quiz before you can take the TEAS Exam and submit a Program Application. In order to complete these requirements and to be added to the Health Sciences Application BlackBoard Organization, please contact Sherika Scotland at sscotland@actx.edu.

What You Need to Know

  • Required Test: ATI TEAS Version 7
  • Minimum Score: 65% 
  • Attempts Allowed: One per admission cycle
  • HESI Scores: HESI scores will no longer be valid. All programs will only accept TEAS exam scores.

  • Science
  • Math
  • Reading
  • English & Language Usage (ELU)

TEAS Testing Dates

  • Application Deadline: October 23, 2026 at 12:00 pm
  • Final Day to Test: October 21, 2026 
    • NOTE: It is your responsibility to ensure that Amarillo College receives your official TEAS transcript before the deadline if you do not test in person at the Amarillo College campus.

Disability Accommodations

If you require any disability accommodation(s), you will need to provide your paperwork to the West Campus Testing Center before you schedule your test.

Exam Results

Results will be entered into the application by the West Campus Academic Computing Center Supervisor. 

Cost of TEAS Exam

The cost for the TEAS exam is $87 in-person or $120 if taken remotely.
