JAM with Love Brings Music, Community, and Heart to Two February Performances

JAM with Love, a vibrant celebration of musical collaboration and artistic expression, will be presented in two February performances showcasing the Amarillo College music faculty. The program highlights an eclectic lineup of musicians and repertoire spanning classical, jazz, popular music, and film favorites, while underscoring the depth and quality of AC’s performing faculty musicians.

Performances will take place at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 8, at the Wellington Ritz Theatre in Wellington and 7:30p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 10, in the Concert Hall Theatre at the Washington Street Campus in Amarillo.

Designed as a faculty showcase, JAM with Love offers students and the community the opportunity to see Amarillo College’s music educators actively engaged in performance—demonstrating the artistry, collaboration, and musicianship they bring to the classroom.

“JAM with Love is about more than music—it’s about practicing what we teach and sharing our love of making music together,” said Camille Nies, AC professor of music and chair of the Department of Music. “This concert allows students to see their instructors performing at a high level and highlights the quality of musicians who teach at Amarillo College. We’re fortunate to work with such talented colleagues, and we’re excited to share that experience with our audiences.”
