Amarillo College’s Legal Studies program is one of only about a dozen college programs in Texas to hold prestigious approval from the American Bar Association (ABA). The program is designed to fast track students to professional certificates or associate degrees in applied science, either of which can lead to immediate entry into the workforce. The program is also a great launching pad for students intending to enter law school or other related fields.

What can you do with a Legal Studies degree or certificate?

No law office is complete without the presence of those equipped with formal Legal Studies expertise – legal assistants and/or paralegals, careers as excellent as they are popular. Additionally, graduates often have designs on peripheral careers – from consultants to FBI agents and court administrators. A Legal Studies Degree provides the scholarly foundation necessary for a host of law-related careers and for further baccalaureate or graduate-degree studies, too.
