2025 Application Point Structure (this application process is for a Fall 2025 program start date)

Grade of A=10 points

Grade of B=7 points

Grade of C=4 points

(Note: Students will receive the highest grade for a course earned per category and/or repeated)

Points are counted for the following:

-ENGL 1301

-Any approved Social/Behavioral Science course

-BIOL 2401

-Any approved college level Math course

-Any approved college level Language, Philosophy, Cultural, or Creative Arts course

-Any approved college level Speech course (no specific points for this course, but with completion, you will get the points for all general/related courses completed)

Additional Points

-All general/related course completed (all six courses)=10 points

-Completion of ALL required Math/Science courses with a grade of "B" or higher=10 points

-Cumulative GPA (of general education requirements) of 3.0 & above=10 points/Cumulative GPA of 2.0-2.9=7 points

-Extra points=5 points for Deans list (or equivalent) as full-time student. For the points to be considered, the student must ensure documentation is submitted to the Director of Radiography and that it is received prior to the application deadline.

-HESI (A2)-Results from Reading, Science, & Math: Composite score x 0.20; i.e. if a student scores 77.23 x 0.20=15.44 for 15 points (points are rounded to the nearest whole number)

-HESI (A2)-Results from Critical Thinking:   less than or equal to 699=0 points; 700-799=5 points; 800-899=10 points; 900=20 points; i.e. if student scores 813=10 points

Total possible points for application=125

For your application to be considered complete, you must attend a Radiography informational meeting and video hospital visit. Please see below for dates/times below.

**Note: All informational meetings are scheduled in-person, if you live more than 150 miles away from the campus, notify the director for potential alternatives.

CPR (must be in person course: AHA-Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider), cannot accept online CPR, immunization records, background check, and 10-panel drug screening will also need to be completed prior to starting the program.

Notification of acceptance to the program will be sent to your official school email on tbd. The candidate for the program is responsible for checking his or her email and responding prior to tbd.  If no response is received from the candidate prior to the deadline, the program will move to the next candidate in line.
