Lesley is a huge fan of Downton Abbey. She loves art and painting. She has taken 15 hours of Art classes at West Texas A&M University and occasionally teaches social painting classes at Burn Studio. Lesley sings and has performed with her church praise and worship team for 6 years. Sometimes she leads the children's choir and directs church performances when she is asked. She is a proud soccer mom. She enjoys hiking, snow skiing, basketball, soccer, volleyball, softball, camping and anything adventurous such as zip-lining. She has even been sky-diving! One day Lesley would like to see the Northern Lights with her husband.
Lesley is from Crosbyton, TX. She attended West Texas A&M University for both her B.A, and M.A. in Communication. She adores her students. They inspire her every day and she is not afraid to have fun in the classroom with them. Lesley feels that "The ability to communicate in any given setting is a skill that will greatly enhance your life and your career, including your family, education, and your community."
She is the faculty sponsor for the International Students Organization and she is the Coordinator for the Presidential Scholars and Honors programs, which gives her the opportunity to plan and participate in Amarillo Colleges overseas travel.
