ACs Foremost Staff Awards Conferred at Fall General Assembly

Arrant, director of content and technology operations for Panhandle PBS, was named Classified Employee of the Year, and Mark Rowh, dean of health sciences, was named AC’s Administrator of the Year.

The recipients, both of whom attended AC once upon a time, each received a plaque and a monetary award.

Arrant was nominated as “the ultimate team player” and is known for his willingness to not only plan an event, but to roll up his sleeves and make it happen. One nomination stated that Arrant “is a people-person whose problem-solving skills and consistently positive demeanor make a department and a division better every single day — and an entire College proud.”

Rowh became dean of health sciences in August of 2012 following 10 years of service to the College as director of the Nuclear Medicine Program. Contained among the many nominations submitted on Rowh’s behalf were such comments as—“He is a role model for others; His demeanor is always one of tranquility and caring; and, He really loves the work that is done to help people, especially students, to succeed.”
