Amarillo College captures 18 prestigious national advertising awards
Amarillo College is pleased to announce that its Communications and Marketing Department has captured 18 prestigious awards from a pair of elite national organizations known for recognizing excellence in higher education advertising.
The 37th Annual Educational Advertising Awards recognized AC with a dozen awards, and the 2121 Collegiate Advertising Awards came in with six more.
Eleven of the accolades that AC received were Gold awards, while six were Silver and one was Bronze.
Three of AC’s advertising initiatives were earmarked for Gold status by both awarding organizations: Fall 2020 Billboard Campaign; Teaching for Transformation magazine; and AC Blog Website.
Additionally, AC received Gold awards from the Educational Advertising Awards for Total Advertising Campaign; Total Digital Marketing Program; Esports Room Signage; and two television campaigns – IRL TV Spots and Color-Personal Campaign Spots.

The Collegiate Advertising Awards program is a national program created to honor today’s most talented marketing professionals for outstanding excellence in all forms of advertising, marketing and promotion specific to higher education products and services.
The Educational Advertising Awards is the largest, oldest and most respected educational advertising awards competition in the country. Entries – spanning the alphabet from Auburn and Baylor universities to West Virginia University and Youngstown State – annually stream in from throughout the land.
