AC to Celebrate Five-Year Success of Badger Bold Comprehensive Campaign

Amarillo College will host a community celebration to mark the accomplishments of its Badger Bold Comprehensive Campaign, a five-year initiative that has transformed opportunities for students and strengthened the College’s impact on the region.

The celebration is scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 2 at the FirstBank Southwest Center on AC’s Washington Street Campus.

The event will highlight Amarillo College’s campaign achievements through inspiring success stories, donor recognition, and remarks from community leaders. Attendees can look forward to meaningful conversations, engaging speakers, and a chance to commemorate the progress made possible through generous support and collaboration.

“Our community has truly rallied behind the Badger Bold Campaign, and this celebration is about honoring both the incredible generosity of our supporters and the remarkable achievements of our students,” Joe Bill Sherrod, AC vice president for Development, said. 

The program will also include food and fellowship as AC thanks donors, partners, and the broader Amarillo community for their role in advancing the College’s mission.
