Topics address recently identified current events, skills, knowledge, and/or attitudes and behaviors pertinent to the technology or occupation and relevant to the professional development of the student. This course was designed to be repeated multiple times to improve student proficiency.

2.  Learn about standards and research relating to quality early childhood programs. 

3.  Explore various existing quality early childhood programs.

Expected Student Behavior

1.    Complete all assignments on time.

2.    Participate in on-line activities.

3.    Read assigned articles.

4.    Complete final project.

Grading Criteria

On-line participation and postings: 25%

Article assignments:  25%

Final Project:  50%

A=90-100, B=80-89, C=70-79, D=60-69, F=59 or below

Attendance

You will be expected to attend class weekly (log-in to the course).  Assignments are your responsibility and are expected to be turned in on time.  Failure to do so will result in a lower grade.
