\ 2. Understand the "life cycle" of social problems.
\ 3. Familiarity with various methods of research.
\ 4. Understand the nature and extent of a variety of social problems.

\ 6. Identify possible solutions to a variety of social problems.

Expected Student Behavior

All Students are expected to follow the Amarillo College Student Code of Conduct. Any violation of this will be dealt with appropriately.

Grading Criteria

\ Students will be evaluated on the bases of the all the quizzes. Quizzes MUST be done by the due date and due time. Quizzes will NOT be turned back on once the due time has passed. Additionally, students will have the opportunity to complete 1 extra credit assignment that is detailed in the class syllabus.

\ Outlined in class online syllabus. Quizzes have equal weight and value for the course.

\ 90% - 100% = A

\ 80% - 90% = B

\ 70% - 80% = C

\ 60% - 70% = D

\ under 60% = F

\ None, all work is done online according to the calendar due dates.

Attendance

\ This is an online class. All work is done online.

Calendar

Each Lesson has a quiz that must be completed by a specified due date and time. Once the quiz is off, it is OFF.

It is the student's responsibility to check the Lessons and Calendar located in the class site on AC Online.
