Course Description

The student will develop the ability to use computer-based technology in communicating, acquiring information and solving problems. Additionally, the student will evaluate the effects and implications of information technology on various aspects of society.

Practical Computing is your lecture book, and a customized version of the GO! Microsoft Office 2010 is your lab book.  Bring both books with you to class each day.  For each chapter in the Practical Computing text, you must complete a required Chapter Quiz on the AC Online site.  For each chapter in the GO! Microsoft Office 2010 text, you will complete training, a Lab and a Chapter Exam
