  1. The student will identify and discuss significant events in the history of Deaf people in the United States.
  2. The student will list specific legislation affecting deaf people.
  3. The student will identify mental health and psychiatric issues that deaf people may have faced.

  5. The student will recall the history of the Deaf President Now movement and its impact on the deaf community.
