    \ The student will apply the basic rules of grammar, spelling, capitalization, number usage, and punctuation, utilize applicable to technical and business writing, develop proofreading and editing skills, and write effective sentences and paragraphs for business applications.

    \ The student will be able to complete satisfactorily all the Learning Outcomes with a competency level based on the completion of required examinations administered under the supervision of the instructor and evaluated according to the instructor's grading scale in the Office Administration Department.

    GRADING SCALE: NOTE: No make-up exams will be given. The only late class exercises accepted will be immediately following an absence.
     
     30% Unit Tests
     20%  Chapter Quizzes         
     10% Final Exam
     10% Attendance
     15% Reinforcement Exercises
     15% Self-Help Exercises
                                                    100% Final Average

    Attendance

    \ This class meets one night a week. After one absence for any reason, three points will be deducted from the final average for each additional absence. Three tardies are considered an absence.
