Expected Student Behavior

 All students are expected to act in a professional manner. Sub par behavior is not tolerated, negatively effects one’s grade, and can result in expulsion from class. Paying attention, punctuality, note taking, bringing the required materials, and prompted discussion during class are beneficial. Unwarranted talking, cellphone use, sleeping, eating, or rudeness are detrimental.

Attendance

Attendance is critical to success in this class. Students are expected to sign in at the beginning of class and stay through the entirety of the class to get credit for that day. Leaving early or tardiness accumulate and effect one’s attendance. Each student is allowed three absences, and every absence after drops one’s attendance by a grade point.
