Study of how image affects success in the business world. Emphasis on visual and behavioral images created by our clothing choices and our understanding and use of appropriate business and social behavior.

\ In order to promote concentration and learning please do not bring food into the classrooms (pork rinds are very distracting). Please turn off cell phones, please no texting while class is in session.

                           90-100%           A Excellent

                           80-90%             B Above Average, Very Good

                           70-80%             C Average, Good

                           60-70%             D Poor, but passing

                           Below 60%       F Failing

Attendance

\ I understand it is sometimes impossible to come to class (Swine flu, death or dismemberment). Because so much of the content of this course occurs in class, students are expected to attend all regularly scheduled classes. Should you miss a class, it is your responsibility to determine what you have missed and take appropriate actions. Please obtain the name and numbers of at least two of your fellow classmates and contact them about anything you have missed. Students who have perfect attendance and at least an 80 average will not  be required to take the final exam.

Additional Information

WITHDRAWAL POLICY:  It is the responsibility of the student to initiate drop or withdrawal procedures through the registrar’s office.  Students who stop attending class but do not officially drop or withdraw from this course will receive a letter grade at the end of the semester. 

November 16 is the last date to withdraw or to change from credit to audit.

 

EXAMINATIONSExaminations will consist of essay, true-false, multiple choice, matching or short answer questions. Final Examination will be comprehensive. Final grade will be determined by dividing total number of points by the number of tests and projects. You wil be accomplishing a semester long project which will be counted as a test grade.  Details will be announced in class.  Instructor reserves the right to subjectively influence the final grade relative to class attendance, participation and attitude.
