There are no textbook requirements for this course.  All materials will be presented in class.

Student will required computer and internet access to research and complete assigned topic.  Final research assignments must be in Microsoft Wrod, PDF, or .rtf format.

Expected Student Behavior

Cell phones should be silenced during class meetings and presentations.

Food and drink may be allowed in non-computer lecture classes, but is not allowed in any computer labs.

Grading Criteria

Students will receive a letter grade according to the following criteria:

Topic Assignment              5%

Research Assignment     90%

Research Presentation     5%

A=90-100;   B=80-89;   C=70-79;   D=60-69;   F=Below 60 

Attendance

\ Attendance in class is regarded as a requirement and obligation for learning. Students are expected to attend scheduled class times.

\ Please remenber that the last day to officially drop this course is November 16, 2011. If you stop attending class and fail to officially drop the course by this date, you will receive an "F" for the course.

\ It is the responsibility of the student to gain any materials missed during regularly scheduled class time cause by their absence(s).
