    Attendance

Employees in the business world are expected to be at work promptly each day; therefore, students in business classes are expected to be in class promptly each day. This class meets twice per week. After two absences for any reason, one point per two absences will be deducted from the semester average (effective after four absences). There are no excused absences. Three tardies equal one absence. If you are more than five minutes late to a class, it will be counted as an absence. If you have perfect attendance and no tardies, three points will be added to your semester average.
