By the end of the semester, the student will be able to satisfactorily complete all of the learning objectives with a minimum of 70 percent competency level based on completion of 4 tests and a final exam administered under the supervision of the professor.

3. Discuss treatment of chemically dependent offenders in correctional settings.
4. Discuss the current diagnosis for gambling addiction.
5. List characteristics of gambling addition.

The grade in the course will be determined by the results in four areas: 1) Three tests (50%)
2) Class participation (10%) 3) Presentation and Articles (40 %)
The grading schedule is as follows:
A = 90=100
B = 80 to 89
C = 70 to 79
D = 60 to 69
F = 59-0
Regular attendance is essential to the successful completion of the course. IT IS THE STUDENT'S RESPONSIBILITY TO DROP A COURSE OR WITHDRAW FROM COLLEGE. Your instructor can not do this for you. Failure to do so will result in the student receiving a performance grade, usually a grade of "F". The last day to withdraw from class is April 19, 2012.
The Instructor reserves the right to change the syllabus and/or calendar if necessary.
