Cheating will not be tolerated. Anyone caught cheating will receive an “F” for this course.
Respect will be given to the instructor and classmates.
Cell phones must be turned off or silenced during class. Cell phones must be out of sight during quizzes and exams.
Make up exams will NOT be given.
Late work will NOT be accepted.
Food and drink is allowed unless otherwise stated.
CLASSROOM WORK/HOMEWORK: You may be given assignments that are to be completed in class or may be completed as homework. All of these assignments together will be worth a total of 200 points.
EXAMS: There will be four lecture exams and one final comprehensive exam for a total of five exams. I will drop your lowest exam score. Each exam will be worth 200 points.
Comprehensive: covers everything from the beginning of the semester and will come from previous exams, lectures, readings and videos.
Ranges from 100-200 questions.
There are no makeup exams.
A = 900-1000 pts B = 800-899 pts C = 700-799 pts D = 600-699 pts F = 0-599 pts
If you stop attending class and do not officially withdraw from the course before the published drop date (April 19), you will receive an “F” for the course.
