· edit on nonlinear (computer) systems.
· light for interior and exterior field production.
· apply design principles (angle, lines, texture, movement, eye lines,
contrast, symmetry, etc.) to audio/video acquisition and editing.
· use formal pre-production planning (story boarding, scripting, logging, and
copyright permission or release forms).
· adjust timing and continuity in audio/video transitions based on pre-set
time lengths, music, dialogue, or action.
· state rights and limitations in using or creating common law vs.
statutory copyrighted material.
· produce several samples of ENG and EFP productions.
· have the ability to tell a story with audio and video.
· demonstrate a professional attitude and performance as a supportive crew member.
operate production equipment necessary for video programs.
