Course Description

A survey of computer design concepts, terminology, processes and procedures. Topics include computer graphics hardware, electronic images, electronic publishing, vectorbased graphics and interactive multimedia.

\ As a performance oriented course, evaluation is based on observable competence in the works produced, application of manual, mechanical and electronic techniques and procedures, and intellectual problem solving abilities as well as industry standards set forth by the instructor.

Grading Criteria

\ The alphabet system explained in the Amarillo College Catalog. It should be noted that a minimum grade of "C" is required as a prerequisite for advanced courses in studio art.
