    Student Performance

    The student will identify spreadsheet terminology and concepts; create formulas and functions; use formatting features; and generate charts, graphs, and reports.

     20% - Lab Assignments
     80% - Exams

    HOMEWORK

    All lab assignments must be typed. When answering True/False and Multiple Choice questions, type the questions and highlight the answer.

    Label lab assignments in the upper right corner including student name, Chapter and Exercise or Assessment Number. Staple all papers together for each Chapter.

    Lab assignments are due at the beginning of class.

               NO LATE LAB ASSIGNMENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

    EXAMS

    Note the date for exams on the course schedule. These exams must be taken on the date indicated. Exams may not be taken early or late.

    Attendance

    Employees in the business world are expected to be at work promptly each day; therefore, students in business classes are expected to be in class promptly each day.  This class meets twice each week.  After one absence for any reason, three points will be deducted from the semester average for each additional absence.  There are no excused absences.  Three tardies equal one absence.  If you leave class while class is being conducted, it will count as a tardy.  If you are more than 10 minutes late, it will be counted as an absence.
