At the end of this course the student will demonstrate at least a 75% proficiency in the required skills.

Please make every effort to be on time. Late arrivals are very disrupting to the class and to a proper leaning environment.
\CELL PHONES MUST BE TURNED OFF OR BE IN VIBRATE ONLY MODE DURING CLASS AND EXAMS.
\Other disruptive behavior, such as carrying on private conversations with the folks around you, snoring, etc, may lead to your being asked to leave the classroom. If his happens, you will not be allowed to return until after a counseling session with me and the program director.
A minimum accumulative grade of 75% is required to pass the course.
Due to the nature of this course, no makeup will be offered on the written exam or skills proficiency test.
Any time you miss a class, it will be your responsibility to obtain notes from classmates.
\I will be happy to discuss any information from the class, but my lecture notes are not available for copying.
\Cases of excessive absences will be handled on an individual basis and will require a counseling session. Following this session, a departmental counseling form will be placed in your file. The purpose of this form is to document that I have made you aware that your excessive absences are jeopardizing your successful completion of this course.
ACLS will meet July 16 and July 18, 0800-1700, in WCAH 175.
