Prerequisites

Course Description

A practical application of management procedures for early care and education programs, including a study of operating, supervising and evaluating programs. Topics on philosophy, types of programs, policies, fiscal management, regulations, staffing, evaluation and communication.

Attendance

The student will meet six times for lecture and other meetings as needed for any make up lectures.

Additional Information

This course is paired with CDEC 2265 which covers hours of observation in leadership situations.

The lecture is provided for both courses in CDEC 2326. 

The project is determined by student interest and  student skills.
