Additional Information

Homework is assigned every day and will be due the next day. Homework problems will be graded by the instructor in 20 points base. Among about 20 homework assignments, two of the lowest scores will be dropped. Late homework will not be accepted.

Quizzes will be given each day at the beginning of the classes. The problems of each quiz are similar to the homework problems due at the quiz day. Each quiz is graded in 10 points base. Two of the lowest scores will be dropped.

The two major tests are all in-class tests. If a student misses one major test, the grade of the missing test will be replaced with the grade of the final exam. No makeup test will be given. If a student does not miss any of the major tests, the grade of the final exam, if higher, will replace the lower grade of the two major tests in calculating the test average.
