\ After completing fourteen (14) hours of building skills in the ACcess Learning Center:
\\ Student should improve math skills, as measured by an assessment instrument.
\\ The ACcess Learning Center is designed to help students build their basic skills in math in order to be successful in courses needed to meet degree/certificate requirements or in order to pass entry level tests prior to entering a certain program. Skills are built through individualized, computer-assisted instruction in conjunction with a wide array of supplemental materials to assist in skill development. The flexibility of the program allows students to work in the Center around their personal schedules. Students will demonstrate an improvement in math skills.
\\ An initial orientation during the 1st week of class is mandatory prior to beginning this course of study. See the Class Schedule for times and dates.

\ Dishonesty Statement
\\ Students are expected to behave in the Learning Center in a manner that is supportive of the learning environment. Behaviors that are not supportive include but are not limited to: cheating, abuse of equipment, electronic device noises, abusive, offensive or disrespectful language and/or demeanor toward AC faculty, staff, students and/or property. Students who fail to comply with the standards outlined in the syllabus and/or “Student Rights & Responsibilities” will be subject to disciplinary action which may include but is not limited to: removal from the Learning Center, consultation with the Learning Center Coordinator and/or other AC authority, withdrawal from the course and/or the college.

\\ A (93%-100% of the time)
\\ B (86%-92% of the time)
\\ C (80%-85% of the time)
\\ D (70%-79% of the time)
\\ F (69% or less of the time)

The last date to drop this semester is November 20, 2013. Dropping or withdrawing from a class may affect scholarship or financial aid, so check with a counselor or an advisor before you withdraw from any class.
